Moved to Florida

We have now moved to Florida. Aside from the 100+ degree days (it's between 80 and 85 in our house everyday), we really like it. More updates to come.

Florida is Beautiful

We are in Tallahassee this week. The weather is beautiful, campus is beautiful, the apartments are good, and traffic is ...

Well, it cannot all be great. But we like it. We're moving here in a few months.

The Half of Knowledge

"The half of knowledge is to know where to find knowledge."

In our search for our next school, I came upon this line on the Florida State University webpage for the Religious Studies Department. In order for Kasey and I to gain that necessary knowledge to achieve our professional goals, we had to know where to find knowledge. This process included searching for a place where we could both get our Ph.D.s. From where we are sitting, Florida State looks pretty attractive (not just because it is in the 70s everyday). We'll keep you updated.

Our First Backyard!

We have moved to Pierce Hall where get a backyard. So we decided to spruce up the place with a little landscaping. The following are pictures from our adventures to date. More to come as we progress.

As you can see, we had a lot of overgrowth in the yard. So we first began by clearing out some of the extra limbs, roots, and stumps. There were other places that were ... drab to say the least.

Long story short, we cleaned up the place, put in landscaping edging, planted day lillies and hostas as well as new grass seed. This is how the yard currently looks.

End of Semester

Countdown to the summer: 6 days left! We are moving to the other side of campus. We'll post pictures when we can. In the meantime, here is a "canned photo" of Thompson Point.

COLDPLAY

Kasey and I went to see Coldplay in Louisville, KY (pronounced Lou-uh-vulll). The show was FREAKING AWESOME!! It was the best light show that I have ever seen in a concert. They played "The Wheels Keep on Turning" and "Ring of Fire" and I was so excited.

Kasey and I had a wonderful time together. A great break, especially since spring break will be totally uneventful, save for one day when we are going to Nashville, TN. Keep visiting our page.
